Lila Swann is a North Carolina car accident attorney serving clients in Pamlico, Carteret, and Craven Counties. She earned her law degree, cum laude, from Charleston School of Law,
where she was a Presidential Honors Scholar and a member of Law Review.
Why This Work Matters to Me
I grew up in Morehead City.
Summers on the sandbars. Riding my bike around downtown. My grandfather was born and raised in Beaufort. Eastern North Carolina isn’t just where I practice law.
It’s where I come from.
Before law school, I worked with small business owners and nonprofits in marketing, graphic design, and video production. I saw firsthand what it takes to build something from the ground up and how much people care about the things they’ve worked hard to create.
When I went to law school, I was drawn to personal injury law because people often need help at one of the most overwhelming times in their lives.
But I knew I wanted to practice differently.
I did not want to build a firm around big promises, catchy slogans, or clients feeling like a number. I wanted to build a practice where people could speak directly with their attorney, understand what was happening with their case, and get honest guidance about their options.
That is the law firm I built.
That experience shapes how I handle every case: I explain what is happening, return your calls, and tell you the truth… even when the answer may not be what you want to hear.
A Different Kind of
